Power Systems North America, part of KOHLER Energy, a leader in generators and energy solutions, announces the Lee Family, owners of Bay City Electric Works of California, have acquired Power Systems West of Oregon. Effective August 1, 2024, the acquisition will bring the 11-state distributor territory serving the West, Northwest, and Rocky Mountain regions under singular ownership with a focus on power generation.
Mobilizing both organizations’ deep expertise of Kohler Energy products and their adjacent territories creates a natural advantage to leverage resources, strengthen services, and improve support for their customers.

The Power Systems West area of responsibility, operations footprint and leadership team will remain in place with Brad Lyons as President. The acquisition offers the possibility to scale business, leverage best practices, and bring increased support to the regional electrical contractors and customers in the combined areas of Bay City Electric Works and Power Systems West.
