Austin is the President of Bay City Electric Works and is known internally as our “Integrator” that manages our Leadership Team.  He focuses on strategic growth and relationships, company profit and loss, marketing, and removing any obstacles internally to achieve success internally with employees and externally with suppliers and customers.
 
Austin received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing from the University of Illinois – Gies College of Business.  He is an alumni of the Build with Kanbrick Program that teaches long term growth strategy for mid-sized privately owned businesses.
 
Prior to joining Bay City in 2009, Austin spent four years with Pulte Homes as an Intern and eventually full time Sales Consultant and was a member of their Top Gun Future Leaders program. After Pulte, Austin spent two years with Kohler Company in their Plumbing Group as an Account Manager in the Chicagoland market working in their Distributor and Builder Channels.
 
He has held several positions within Bay City starting in Residential Generator Sales and Dealer Development while later spending time in Industrial Estimating, Sales, and Project Management.  More recently he has been working on the Leadership Team in VP roles leading our Sales Organization and building out internal business systems that are foundational to sustaining our continued growth.
 
His most proud career achievement thus far was leading the effort on our KOHLER Energy Sales Territory expansion from the San Diego market to all of California, Nevada, and Hawaii and winning Distributor of the Year in 2016.
 
In his free time Austin enjoys family time with his wife and two children and the occasional round of golf.  Growing up in Illinois he is a long suffering Chicago professional sports fan and loyally continues to cheer on his Fighting Illini.
